SERVICE
Nonprofit Internship Service
This is an exclusive service designed to build the organizational and human resource capacity of nonprofit organizations. In collaboration with its strategic alliances, LnP assigns your organization a consultant who designs, implements and trains your staff in managing an internship program. With the help of a Consultant and our Internship Coordinators, you can recruit and nurture raw talent for your organization. As a result, you will become more efficient, resourceful and ultimately, more successful.
If you are a nonprofit serving the NYC metro area or Dutchess County communities and interested in learning more, please email us for more information at interns@literacyandpovertyproject.com.
Internship Search and Placement Program
Education and work experience are some ways to get ahead in life and rise up out of poverty. Yet education nor work experience come easy to many adults as the job market becomes more competitive each day. So what can you do if you lack the experience but believe you can do the job? Do what college students have done for so long and start off with an internship.
LnP Project searches for the best position based on your interests, skills and abilities to advance your career or field of interest while providing access to more jobs, experience, education, and exposure...things every intern craves. As an intern you will:
- Learn essential job skills and have opportunities for professional development
- Receive financial and mentoring support
- Network with experienced professionals in your desired field, and
- Gain hands-on experience in a professional work environment and see first-hand what it takes to achieve your goals and provide a better life for you and your family
This program is currently in development but we are accepting applications from potential interns. Email interns@literacyandpovertyproject.com for more information.
